Band Camp Day 11
Band Camp is two and half weeks of intense learning, physical training, and team building every year before the marching season kicks off and school begins. Your student will enter band camp as a weak, geeky band kid and will leave as a disciplined, strong, and hard-working young adult. It will be a ton of fun! Students will put together most of the marching band production and learn military band drills. Attending EVERY DAY is MANDATORY for team success. Please DO NOT join the marching band if you can not commit to all Band Camp dates.
Also remind students to wear/bring sunscreen, wear appropriate clothing for working out and the heat, bring and drink lots of water, bring a lunch or money for lunch, and most importantly a good attitude and willingness to learn. Band Camp is a wonderful bonding experience and a ton of fun!
